This blog used to be called “Our Journey to Start a Family” and well, because of the craziness of the last year I have not been updating. If you know me, then you know our journey is no longer one of trying to START a family! In less than a year we went from a family of 2 to a family of 4! So, if you haven’t already noticed, that led to the name change of the blog. 🙂 I thought I was busy when I worked a full-time job outside of the home. That was nothing! My daily life, now, is filled with diapers, tears, tantrums, laughter, and a lot of puke on my shirt! It is funny how the Lord works. I went from wondering if we would ever have children, to having two and life is quite different. I am loving every minute of it, though, and am beyond thankful for the Lord’s goodness.
I had planned on beginning a new blog, but as I was scrolling back through old posts, I thought it was important to be reminded of where things began. I did not always handle that journey well, and I don’t always handle today’s struggles well. I guess that makes me human.
So, here I am, with a new path in front of me….motherhood. It is one I am still learning to navigate and can venture a guess that I will always feel like I am winging it! I plan to detail some of the every day happenings, my random ramblings, things around our little homestead…basically whatever I have time to write about and hopefully you will find each post worthy of being read. My hope is that when I take a moment to share, it will be worthwhile, helpful, or just provide you with a good laugh!
A few weeks ago I had aspirations of doing a complex blog with tabs and different labels with everything all organized. If there is one thing I have learned in the past year, it is that I need to prioritize. Thankfully, I figured out my blogging desires were probably a little more than I can handle right now. That shows growth! I learned before making the mistake! haha….
Share my blog with your friends. Follow me. Who knows what I will find in the chaos to write about for you to enjoy! It could be epic!
